The humidifier is connected to a water supply and produces mist using ultrasonic vibrations to increase the humidity in a room. It consumes little energy, as only the transducer and fan are powered (no greenhouse gases).
Easy to use and maintain, it is recommended in various sectors:
- Health: It is often used in hospitals, doctors’ surgeries and clinics by respiratory disease specialists.
- Horticulture and agriculture: Helps maintain a high level of humidity in greenhouses to promote plant and flower growth while preventing their leaves from drying out.
- IT: Used to control humidity in data centers or computer rooms and prevent equipment corrosion.
- Music: Helps protect musical instruments against dry air, which can damage strings and woodwinds.
Technical specifications
The humidifier consists of a water tank into which water is poured. A transducer inside the tank emits high-frequency ultrasonic vibrations. These vibrations create a fine mist of water in the tank. The mist produced is then diffused into the air via a blowing nozzle. You can adjust the amount of mist produced and the speed of diffusion.
To prevent the growth of bacteria and mould, it is important to clean the water tank regularly. Distilled water can be used to avoid mineral build-up in the unit.
