What is a dehumidifier?
A dehumidifier is a piece of equipment designed to quickly dry out a space or stabilize humidity levels in a room. It is particularly effective at reducing excess humidity in the air, which can lead to mold growth and respiratory problems.

How does it work?
The unit draws in moisture-laden ambient air via a fan, then filters it before directing it to an evaporator. Here, the air is cooled to below its dew point, causing the water it contains to condense. The recovered water is then collected in a built-in tray or discharged to the outside via a drainage system.
