Biomass collective heating<\/h1>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]We are proud to present the installation of the D’Alessandro<\/strong> CS80 class 5 biomass heater<\/strong> at the Foyer Rural de Levens. This high-quality industrial heater<\/a>, made by the prestigious Italian manufacturer D’Alessandro, is specifically designed to ensure optimal biomass combustion, using fuels from renewable energy sources<\/strong> such as pellets, olive pomace<\/strong> and various shells. <\/p>\n

This remarkable installation testifies to our firm commitment to the use of green, sustainable energy<\/strong>, while meeting the energy needs<\/strong> of the Foyer Rural de Levens. The D’Alessandro CS80 heater<\/a> will efficiently supply the central heating and domestic hot water required for the Foyer Rural’s activities. What’s more, we’re delighted to point out that this heating system will run on olive pits from a local olive grove, located just outside the village. <\/p>\n

The installation was a logistical challenge, even requiring delivery of the heater by helicopter. This is testimony to our unwavering commitment to implementing environmentally-friendly energy solutions and actively supporting the transition to sustainable energy sources. <\/p>\n

Thanks to this new installation, the Foyer Rural de Levens will benefit froman ecological and economical source of heat<\/strong>, helping to reduce its carbon footprint and dependence on fossil fuels. We are convinced that the D’Alessandro CS80 biomass heater<\/a> will bring considerable benefits in terms of sustainability and energy efficiency, enabling the Foyer Rural to play an exemplary role in promoting an environmentally-friendly lifestyle. <\/p>\n

Choosing the right wood-fired workshop heating equipment<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Before even considering the type of equipment, it’s imperative to have a precise idea of the volume of<\/strong> air to be heated. Indeed, the choice will depend in part on this last aspect. You also need to take into account the location of<\/strong> the site, its level ofisolation<\/strong> and its configuration.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Volume of air to be heated<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Generally speaking, the volume to be heated is quite large. The heater’s heating power<\/strong> will therefore be proportional to the size of<\/strong> the room. Expressed in Watts, power is defined as a function of the volume in m\u00b3 of the room to be heated. In practical terms, the standard formula for benefiting from the heater’s performance is as follows: 1m\u00b3 of air=40 watts of heating<\/strong> power. The calculation is based on height<\/strong> and surface area. So, 1m\u00b2 of surface to be heated = 100 watts of power. For a poorly insulated location, you’ll need to add 15% of this power to get a proportional result.<\/p>\n
